Combat and Attacks

Attack

Players can attack neighboring provinces once daily, selecting UAPs and their crews for the assault.

Attacks are queued in a database with timestamps and resolved during a daily 5-minute “lockdown” period. Combat outcomes depend on UAP count, crew bonuses, and province upgrades and a floatable handicap to give even underdogs a fair chance. Attacks require fleet energy to be healthy and a player can attack only one province per turn. When attacking, at least one UAP needs to stay behind. If a attack is unsuccessful all UAP's used in the attack move back to the originating province. If it is successful they move to the new province. Defense Defending is in general easier than attacking and is fully automatic. You will be notified in the events log in case an attack happened on your provinces. If you lost, you will need to replace your units to different provinces you control. If this was your last province then your units will be automatically redeployed in a random, unoccupied province. If none are available you will be able to initiate a "Sky Reaper" during the next turn. Sky Reaper In order to make it possible for players to enter the game after losing all their territory (and new players), the so called "Sky Reaper" function allows players (which have no territory) to attack a random occupied territory on the map. This can only be initiated once per week and is paid in $UAP.
